Zoo Lights is at the Houston Zoo which transforms into a Zoo Winter Wonderland. The Houston Zoo has displays of more than 2,000,000 of colorful lights and festive holiday music. You can sip on hot chocolate while you stroll around the Houston Zoo with twinkling lights, a Holiday train village, Holiday Grove with animal theme lanterns and glowing flowers, hanging pollinator garden with glowing butterflies and flowers, Coca-Cola Bear, Santa’s workshop and life-sized animated animal sculptures. Magical Winter Lights
Magical Winter Lights is at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds! The address is 4310 State Highway 36, Rosenberg, Texas 77471 You can explore Worlds of magical wonder with over 100 lighted world globes, prehistoric animals, and magical lanterns. The festival is the largest holiday light festival in Houston and the largest lantern festival of its kind to take place in the U.S. The festival has seven themed areas representing The Kingdom, The Village, The Dino, Houston, The Space, The Ice, and The Sea. Festival of Lights
Festival of Lights is at Moody Gardens with an Iceland Rain Forest Holiday. A team of master ice carvers from Harbin, China, renowned for their expertise, arrived in mid-October to hand-carve two million pounds of ice into this frozen wonderland. The exhibit is housed in a 28,000-square-foot insulated tent maintained at a chilly nine degrees Fahrenheit to preserve the sculptures. Additionally, Shivers Ice Bar, an igloo-themed bar made entirely of ice, offers guests a unique spot to enjoy holiday spirits. The centerpiece is a giant ice slide that offers a thrilling glacial journey for visitors of all ages. There is an outdoor ice-skating rink, train rides, live entertainment, and ad 100-foot arctic slide. st. Santa’s Wonderland
Santa’s Wonderland is a Texas Christmas experience located in College Station. They have Santa’s hay ride tours, limo carriage rides, and lighted train rides journeying through the magical light filled adventure inside Santa’s Wonderland. They have live music, a wonderland winery, and 10,000 square feet of shopping, nightly Texas snow, a food village and cozy campfires. Galaxy Lights
Galaxy Lights is at the Space Center at NASA in Houston Texas. The event is from November 16th through January 5th from 6 to 10. You can experience two high-tech kinetic light shows where dozens of suspended lights move in precise choreographed sequences to music above the Main Plaza. This year, go on a journey through the solar system in the new Deep Space Backyard. You can walk underneath the stars and take your photo among large displays of astronauts exploring space.
At Galaxy Lights you can watch a new crystal fireworks experience. The crystal fireworks come to life on a dazzling 40-foot-tall cascading light display composed of different colors of the galaxy. This is one of only two crystal fireworks displays in the world. There is a 200-foot LED light tunnel made of more than 250,000 lights synchronized to festive holiday music. Dickens on the Strand
Dickens on the Strand is in Galveston. The annual Dickens on the Strand is a Victorian Holiday festival that recreates characters from the Dickens novel. You can dress up to for the festival celebration. Parades, strolling carolers, bagpipers, jugglers, costumed vendors and live entertainment fill the strand with sights and smells that take you back to the Victorian time. Holiday at Discovery Green
Holiday at Discovery Green has a 12 acre urban park and includes a skate rink. . Outdoor ice-skating rink, magical holiday lights, decorations, holiday concerts and movies. Polar Express
Polar Express is in Palestine Texas. You will enjoy a magical train ride on a 25-mile journey through the Piney w Woods of East Texas. The magical story comes to life when the train departs the depot to the North Pole. Your children will hear the music from Polar Express while being served hot chocolate and cookies. They will also be read the story Polar Express. At the North Pole Santa greets all the children and gives them the first gift of Christmas a silver sleigh bell.
